Just a few days ago, someone posted an article on how vitamins D is made. When reading that, I wonder if anyone still wants that! But in the store, all milk has it added. To get raw milk, we have to drive 70 miles! (and are admonished it is only for our animals-I think it is still against the law to sell raw milk for human consumption here in GA)
Good points, both about the quality of Vitamin D, and the nonsensical restrictions on raw milk. What's so dangerous about milk fresh from the cow that goons with guns have to stop us from getting it? Something's fishy here.
As far as I know, there is a possibility of getting sick from it, when it is too old, and in some people who have an allergy. Now it would be best to have your own, non-messed-with cow, un-injected, unpoisoned, and then, what on earth could be better? just like fresh eggs, freshly made butter, - we should in fact go back to having our own farms again. It is truly beyond me that people come to industrialized countries for 'a better life', specially those that come from farming communities. (of course some have to run for their lives from their own countries, which is a valid reason to emigrate)
